Section 17
Restrictions on decision-making in case of conflict of interest
(1) If any proposal involving the financial interest, private interest or commercial interest of the chairman, member or any member of his immediate family is to be discussed in the meeting of the committee, such member shall inform the committee before the commencement of the meeting.
(2) According to sub-section (1), when there is a discussion in the meeting of the committee regarding any proposal in which any member or any member of his family has an interest, such member shall not participate in the relevant meeting. (3) A decision contrary to subsection (1) or (2) shall not apply to such member.
